Grooming

Grooming services provided by a caring doggie-ville™ professional can be a vital addition to your pet's health and well-being...

Nail Clipping

Dogs and cats need to have their nails trimmed regularly. It's more than just for show; overgrown nails can:

  • cause a dog's foot to splay which can lead to gait and posture problems or even lameness
  • grow into a dog's tender pad and become infected
  • split, break or be torn off all together
  • cause damage to a person's clothing and skin as well as furniture, carpets, etc.

Ear Cleaning

Proper cleaning and care of your pet's ears are essential for prolonged health. A doggie-ville™ Specialist will clean the outermost area of your dog's ears with a cotton ball or cotton swab dampened with water or baby oil. Then, we will clean further inside the ears to soften and remove wax, using a pet safe, specially designed ear-cleaning solution.

Doggie Massage

Your pet will receive gentle rub-downs designed to soothe achy joints & muscles. OK, we give...This is also a good time for spoiling! Pets love massages. They receive extra time with care-givers and lots and lots of love.

Hand Brushing/Loose Hair Removal

Brushing your dog or cat's fur helps to reduce shedding, stimulates circulation and prevents parasites, such as fleas and ticks. Regular grooming can also prevent painful matting.

Tooth Brushing

Just like us humans, dogs need their teeth brushed every day. Besides freshening their breath, it reduces tartar and helps prevent periodontal disease.

While doggie-ville™ recommends a visit to the doggie-dentist once a year, it is imperative that your canine friend comes in for teethbrushing much more frequently (6-8 times a year) to prevent periodontal disease.
